Arguably the hottest 'Prospect' in WCPW, Drake’s career in the promotion has been defined by refusal. He refuses to wait for the opening bell before launching into feral attacks. He refuses to bow to his so-called masters, decimating legends-in-waiting like Jay Lethal with his fearsome Top-Rope Lungblower.
He also refuses to accept his positioning as an ancillary player, entering a spate of stature-enhancing performances in the latter part of 2016. Narrow though it is, on the paper which barely tells the story, his win/loss record is a bone of contention. Drake seems poised and determined to refuse - and kill - that perception.
